Maite from @topcatalanrestaurants has set off for Conca de Barberà to get to know one of those restaurants that truly represent the Catalan region and cuisine. The destination: Hostal Colomí, in Santa Coloma de Queralt. And the visit couldn’t have started better: Pep, Rosita’s son, welcomes her to show her the product they have and proudly explains the history of the restaurant. And to top it all off, that same day, coincidence meant that Pep Nogué, one of the country’s leading chefs and disseminators of gastronomy, was also there. A good sign.
